First, you got involved in this thread because of my posts, and I for one appreciated your response - I simply felt we may have needed a new topic for the discussion overall.
I have nothing against rational, reasoned discussion of the important social topics of our day, of which this is most definitely one, and we need to have these discussions, regardless of others feelings - this affects us as a society, and we can't make informed decisions going forward without discussion such as we began here.
As a human being, I feel there's absolutely nothing for you to apologize, and if you STFU I will see it as my fault for having caused offense right after I decided to post again, and I don't feel that's right because neither of us did anything "wrong", or offensive (well perhaps I caused offense, but I had no intention of doing such)
It's good you speak your mind and share your experiences, information and thoughts... :) don't apologize for that! We all to the same...
