Here is a fine example of both EU propaganda, and the peddling of it by German media.  From the English language site of Deutsche Welle, dated today.

Rural EU citizens more anti-European and anti-democratic — study

The EU Commission has found that people living in rural areas are less likely to support democracy and EU solidarity. They are also more likely to suffer a shortage of services such as medical care and public transport.

First, note the headline.  "EU citizens more anti-European".  Huh?  What, are they anti-themselves?  NO.  What this misleading verbiage means is that rural Europeans are more likely to be against the --> EU <--, not against Europe.  Conflation of two very different things, something the EU loves to do.

Then, this notion is extended to also suppose these rural people supposedly are anti-democratic as well.  OH.  Let me guess -- maybe they believe in the concept of their countries more than they believe in globalist bilge ... thus they are labeled "anti-democratic" ... when in fact, the high Eurocrats are APPOINTED, not ELECTED ... something that is genuinely anti-democratic and practically authoritarian.

And so the drumbeat of aggression against those opposed to the EU goes on.
