I used search to find this thread. Because at RN, i am now confident enough that i will not be ridiculed and getting ad hominem insults at me like... somewhere else...
It WAS real! (but has not been happening for a couple of years or so.)
First of all, i am an alcoholic and i have a faulty memory sometimes. You know... When you remember something, let's say an event, hmmm... your wedding. You do not remember it when the wedding happened. You remember it from the last time you remembered it. And mind plays tricks on everyone. For me at least. Look, Mandela effect really fucked me up. I was insane to begin with. But even being an alcoholic and armed with a faulty memory, i have strong emotional bonds to some things. So here we go:
1. The Sun used to be yellow, not white. But the photosynthesis still seems to work so why should i go nuts over it?
2. TV show was Sex in the city, not Sex and the city. Strong emotional bonds. My ex girlfriend loved it. And i really disliked the show but hey, gotta let her have her TV entertainment. I disliked the mindset of the women and... yeah. In general, it was repulsive to begin with.
3, Queen song "We are the champions" is played every time after ice hockey world championships final. Finland has won gold 1995, 2011 and 2019. It used to have a really prolonged "Of the wooooooorld" in the end. It is gone now.
4. James Bond movie. Moonraker. There was this cute blonde woman with dental braces. And she met Jaws. You know Jaws? metal teeth man who can crush metal with teeth just like that. And they made eye contact, then they smiled a BIG smile. With metal in the mouths of both. I felt like that is really romantic and also amusing. Well the fucking scene is ruined now, because the cute blonde no longer has dental braces.
And i was a train wreck. Trust me on this one. I had to ditch weed due to it only made me scared. Took shit loads of beer. Then i was facing a decision. Get a psychosis now, and they will not let me go this time, or deal with the shit. So i made a conclusion. If i one morning wake up suddenly left handed.... If my social security number has suddenly changed... if my mom is a completely different person when i invite her here and she claims to be my mom. Then i will take my psychosis. But this stuff is quite meaningless. So i stopped caring. And then the Mandela effects stopped, as i already stated.
Thanks for letting me share. It was really tough. Way harder than 2020.
