Just like to today, there's always been those who perceive a hierarchical structure to everything they see.
'Lord Ashtar' -a name that conjures up images of Ming The Merciless or Supreme Chancellor Palpatine barking
orders to his obedient soldiers to undermine the Galactic Federation!

Just as we see dolphins and monkeys as altruistic creatures because of their facial features, we humanise that
which we don't understand in the hope of conquering our fear of the unknown.

Notice the renderings are of the classic blonde-haired, blue-eyed 'Nordic' type from Pleiades... the Aryan race
that the Nazis wanted! I'd be interested to know why this character was dropped for the later Grey Alien-style.

Maybe Lord Ashtar fired the Public Relations guy or it's some kind of shift-work?!
