Toronto Shooting.
#8
Well it's time to pull out the 'Mental Health'-card again and write-off any loss of life to a Canadian who
just didn't get with the program. Let us see who this ice-hockey-loving misunderstood chap is, heh?

Faisal Hussain's family say he has had mental health problems for much of his life and that they are
"utterly devastated".

'Canadian officials have identified the man responsible for a mass shooting in Toronto as Faisal Hussain.
The 29-year-old Toronto resident is suspected of firing a handgun into restaurants and cafes in the city's
Greektown district on Sunday night local time, killing two people and injuring 13.

Those killed were a 10-year-old girl and student Reese Fallon, 18.

Ms Fallon had recently graduated high school and was volunteering for Canada's Liberal party before
starting university, where she was to train as a nurse.

Local politician Nathaniel Erskine-Smith said her family was "devastated" and had described her as
being "smart, passionate and full of energy". A Go Fund Me page has been set up to raise money for
a scholarship in her honour.
The thirteen people injured -seven males and six females -remain in hospital.

Hussain died after exchanging gunfire with police officers at the scene.
It is not clear whether he killed himself or whether he was shot by police, with Toronto police chief Mark
Saunders saying: "He received a gunshot wound, but I'm not going to expand on that".

The motive behind the shooting has not been established and police have said they will not speculate.
However, Hussain's family members said he had been mentally ill for much of his life.
In a statement, the family said he "had severe mental health challenges, struggling with psychosis and
depression".

They added that they had been "utterly devastated by the incomprehensible news" and their "hearts are
in pieces for the victims". "While we did our best to seek help for him throughout his life of struggle and
pain, we could never imagine that this would be his devastating and destructive end."

The shooting comes a few months after a man drove a van into pedestrians on a Toronto pavement, killing
10 people and injuring 14...'

But his mental issues weren't severe enough that after arriving at the cognisant decision to take a life,
he dressed himself in a single colour, prepared his weapon and transported himself to the Greektown
district to accomplish his goal.

Knowing his anti-social desire would require him to work within a fluid situation -and with a limited
accuracy of a handgun, he sought his random victims, exchanged fire with those who wished him to
stop and eventually, fought against the natural will of his body to live and was f*ckin' killed.

The BBC reported: '...In a statement released to various media outlets, Hussain's family expressed their
"deepest condolences" to the victims and their families for what they called "our son's horrific actions".

They said their son suffered from serious mental health challenges and had struggled with untreatable
psychosis and depression most of his life...'

'...Faisal Hussain's family say he has had mental health problems for much of his life and that they are
utterly devastated"...'
They must feel terrible, it must be like losing a kid to crazy gunman or something.
Come on now, let's all feel sorry for the Hussain family.
