Mueller Requests Postponement of Flynn's Sentencing
#2
He didn't do anything criminally wrong in regards of what he was doing, he's merely accused of lying to the FBI.

Quote:'...Some left-wing pundits, who know better, are trotting out the Logan Act, which, if it were the law, would prohibit private citizens
(including presidents-elect) from negotiating with foreign governments. But this anachronistic law hasn’t been used for more than
200 years.

Under the principle of desuetude -a legal doctrine that prohibits the selective resurrection of a statute that has not been used for
many decades -it is dead-letter. Moreover, the Logan Act is unconstitutional insofar as it prohibits the exercise of free speech...'
SOURCE:

If Flynn is held accountable through the courts, the FBI and most of the US political circles know this
particular can of worms -in the light of what the FBI have been really up to, will bring problems in the
future.

Putting Flynn in this situation was a terrible act, but being it was only a facet of their real goal, the FBI
never considered their mission would fail. Collateral damage, would be a good way of looking at it.
