Aw For Heaven's sake... Not Another Rally?!!
#1
Think about this when and if you read this article.

The majority... and I truly mean this, the majority of people in the UK at this time
of the year don't give a rats-ass about a so-called travel ban to the United States that
does or doesn't effect them.

It's coming up on February and in this country, it's hardly a time when thoughts of
taking the kids to Disneyland are not in the forefront of parents' minds having just
gotten their children back to school.

But if somebody did wish to ignore the possible financial penalties of taking your
children out of school and decides to visit the Grand Canyon or those crazy bastards
in San Francisco, I'm sure... certain that one's journey would not be thwarted.

So.... who's this bonny gang that have left those same children in the house alone,
travelled into their city centres and showed their hurt feelings of a law from another
country that doesn't effect them and is in place to save lives?

Trump travel ban: Thousands join protests across UK.

'Thousands of people have joined protests in London and in cities around the UK
against a controversial travel ban on seven mainly Muslim countries imposed by
US President Donald Trump.

The ban bars citizens from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

MPs are holding an emergency debate on the immigration measures.
A petition calling for Prime Minister Theresa May to cancel Mr Trump's planned
state visit to the UK has been signed more than 1.4 million times.

The demonstration in London, organised by author and columnist Owen Jones,
is taking place outside 10 Downing Street.

The prime minister's office said earlier in the day that Mrs May was "very happy"
to extend the invitation to Mr Trump on behalf of the Queen.
More than 25,000 people have signed up for the London protest on Facebook.

Shadow Attorney General Shami Chakrabarti and Shadow Home Secretary Diane
Abbott have addressed the crowd, and the singer Lily Allen is also due to speak.

Demonstrations are also taking place in Manchester, where about 3,000 people
are taking part, Glasgow, Cardiff, Newcastle, Sheffield, Oxford and about 30
other cities and towns...'Trump travel ban: Thousands join protests across UK.

I listened to a live-update in a city near me and when one of the protesters on
a podium in front of the large congregation attempted to get the people holding
the placards to sing along with him, there was a nervous hush over the crowd.
Why?

"Praise Islam, Praise Islam, Refugees are welcome here!" he sang and apart from
a middle-aged woman mumbling the words with a confused look on her face,
I think the crowd may have wondered if their protest had taken a wrong turn!

Oh... and the guy who shouted into the microphone after this chap, announced
that President Trump was not legally elected because of the weakness of the rival
party.
