That;s true. Information saturation is another tool in the propagandist's tool box. it works on the theory that if you hear the same thing in enough different places, you begin to believe that it must be truth.
Another tool is who gets the "information" there first. People tend to believe what they hear first over what they hear after that. Have you ever had the experience of reading a book, and then later watching a movie made after the book? People tend to see whichever they saw or read first as the better version. Likewise, if they see the movie first and then read the book later, they tend to believe that the book can't hold a candle to the movie.
There are a lot of little tricks for convincing folks to believe what you want them to believe, and propagandists employ all of them. An awareness of what those tricks are gives you a fighting chance at evaluating what you hear in light of them.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.
Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
