I did some some more digging around and found this video talking about a similar pattern that happened around the same time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9xlTxvtQk4 

I think the second link was the pattern that happened just before El Hierro erupted in 2011. I’ll have to look again to make sure I haven’t gotten mixed up.  This really piqued my interest and I’ve been looking around for info off and on all morning.

I did run into a discussion on Reddit where someone was saying it could just be the way the monitoring equipment is set up. I wonder if it wouldn’t be showing up more often if that was the case though.

Wow   thank you Violet , those are very interesting, and clearly the grid is seen also on those . Some comments on youtube mentioned HAARP , that`s possible i guess.

This all look like man made epicenters , many of them in grid formation ...
