It's News Guys, But Not As We Know it!
The world might be currently in a state of confusion, but in Turkey it's a little more than usual!

Quote:Drunk Turkish Man Reported Missing Joins Search Party for Himself

'A “missing” drunk Turkish man had the shock of his life when he realized he had joined a search
party looking for himself on Tuesday. Beyhan Mutlu, 50, was reported missing by his wife after she
couldn’t get in contact with him for a few hours and he didn’t return home.

Beyhan Mutlu: "Yer' can't even have a piss in the woods in peace, these days!"

Mutlu, who lives in a city called Inegol in the northwestern province of Bursa, was not in danger -he was
simply out drinking with some friends. The man wandered into the forest after his drinking party, and his
friends couldn’t locate him. They joined his wife when she reported him missing.

While walking through the dense forest, Mutlu encountered teams of first responders and locals who had
formed a search party for a missing person. Moved by the search party, Mutlu decided to help the search
as well -and no one involved realized that he was the object of their search.

The drunk Turkish man helped search for the missing person for hours before realizing that he himself had
been reported missing. He only discovered that the search party had been organized to find him when he
heard first responders and volunteers shouting his own name.

The man shouted “I’m here!” to the great confusion of his search party colleagues, who had been searching
for the missing man for hours. Mutlu then informed authorities that indeed he himself was the person they were
looking for. The authorities took a statement from the drunk man, and then took him home.
Reportedly, the drunken man was worried that his family would be upset with him for the debacle.

Although it seems improbable, this is not the first instance of a missing person joining their own search party.
A tourist in Iceland had a similar experience in 2012 while visiting the country’s extraordinary volcanic region
in the south.

The woman visited the site on a tour bus with other tourists. The group was given time to explore the Eidgja
Canyon, which is popular with nature-loving tourists. The tourist was reported missing after she failed to return
in the allotted time, and didn’t come back to the bus even after the driver waited another hour.

A search team descended upon the area shortly, and all of the tourists aided in the search party, including the
“missing” tourist herself. Hours after the search began, it was called off when the authorities discovered that
the woman had been on the bus the whole time and even helped search for herself...'
