I listened to 'The Roswell Report, Case Closed' audio book, a report that's over five hours long and it
didn't dissuade me at all. It was well set-out and implied that the residents of the New Mexico town
may not have been telling falsehoods, they just got the year they said something crashed in desert
was in error.
True, the test-dummies, and actual military man with red-hair and other elements of the traditional tale
did occur in the fifties, but the whole report is based on that. Not June of 1947, but the 50's.
One of the accounts used is supposed to explain the use of high-altitude mannequins and they even mention
the witness attempting -and failing, to communicate with one of the alleged aliens from the San Agustin Plain
(where the vehicle allegedly came down)crash.
Why would a grown man try to talk to a plastic dummy?!
