From the begining of time, and in almost every country, there were people who sacrificed their children to the gods.
Many still do. In today's time it is most often to the gods of fame and money.
We like to think of parenting as noble, natural, sometimes even spiritual, but in the world of nature, parenting is more about survival than about love.
Maybe it is society's move away from the family as a unit, and the focus on the "me" rather than "us", that seems to have the world looking like it is spinning backwards.
Maybe the much expected planetary flip has already happened, because it sure feels like we are hanging upside down.

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.
Yet I still post.
