No, you wouldn't know. Each high level of the military are told they are the highest, but they're not. It's all compartmentalized, and no one knows about the other compartments above them, to keep it secret. That is one reason all the guys at the top don't believe some of this is true; their egos won't allow them to think they aren't at the top of the totem pole. :smalleyeroll:
Solar Warden was one of the older Secret Space Programs. There are others now.
Well, to be fair the comment was not from a military standpoint, it was from a physics standpoint. I've never had access to particularly high levels of military, but I'm willing to bet that even they can't do the impossible yet. Most folks don't understand how unimaginably vast space is, how incredibly empty it is, or how infinitesimally small in comparison to it that those tiny twinkling points of light we see in the night sky are.
Why would they keep any space program secret?
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.
Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
