Law Enforcement Today has been undergoing cyber attacks (DDoS attacks I presume) for reporting on the situation in Virginia, in particular steps taken to form militias, and the revolt of quite a number of law enforcement personnel against the State, and in favor of their people. About 10 or 12 hours ago they underwent a particularly crippling attack that knocked their servers entirely off of the internet, and they had to communicate the distress signal through Facebook instead, since their own servers were down.
They were also communicated the following on Wednesday before the servers started going down:
The writer is apparently attempting to impersonate a congress critter, but the communication was sent anonymously, so their veracity is in doubt. What's not in doubt is that they've attracted some unwanted attention from at the very least some hackers, probably some folks with access to a LOIC Cannon.
After this anonymous threat, the cyber attacks began.

Just to be clear, no one's reporting is inciting any violence, nor will it. Government run amok and making threats, letting their mouths write checks their asses are not going to be able to cash, may very well incite violence. If it comes, the blood is on their hands.
THEY are the bastards that started this mess, not us, and THEY are the bastards who are fanning the flames, not us.
THEY are the bastards holding a lit match to a powder keg, and if THEY don't have the good sense to blow it out, they get what they get.

Quote:“Your reporting about the growing numbers in the militia create a clear and present threat to America. As part of Congress, I’m giving you fair warning that this is the equivalent of shouting ‘fire’ in a movie theater. If your reporting incites violence, or can even be tied to it, we will make sure to charge your editors with felonies."

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.
Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
