We can hope for the best, but must prepare for the worst. Socialist have been known to double-down on stupid when they don't get their way.
It's not just us hillbillies - this movement has taken off across the entire state. All of Virginia is up in arms over it, so to speak.

Nah... ain't gonna happen.

Some of them will. Not all of them are as committed to the idea of freedom as has been the case in generations past. Our current best estimates suggest that 50 to 60 percent of them will pick up their gear and bring it and themselves across the trenches to our side.

Quote:I think... I HOPE LIKE HELL... he is voted out in 2020.  If not, then some people are just plain dumb.

Hang in there Daddy!   tinyshocked

There is a petition afoot right now, as we speak, to recall Northam from the Governor's office, an office he has demonstrated unfitness to hold. There is also a petition being kicked off tomorrow in Fairfax County to recall Saslaw, the idjit that formulated the laws up for consideration to make serfs out of us citizens. I'll not be posting links to either here, as you have to be a citizen of Virginia to sign the one to recall Northam, and a citizen of Saslaw's congressional district to sign the one against him.

ETA: I'm getting a lot of "this content isn't available right now" notices in the Buchanan County 2A Sanctuary Facebook group. Imagine that.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
