These two statements tell you it was one of two things.
Either the security agencies of the United States responsible for keeping their country safe have no idea of who
-as in friend or foe, frequents that country.
Or
Through their complicated ties with people the public are assured via media conduits that are your enemies, allow
these US-hating antagonists to engage in acts of terrorism in hopes of maintaining those ties.
Whch is hardly the action of protecting those they're meant to serve, 'bigger picture' or not.
(Unless the ones they serve aren't the ones working in the twin towers that day.)
In a normal world, these men would've been plumbers, office workers or software engineers. But no, it just happens
that some of them -that we know about, just happen to be connected to the Israeli Intelligence Community.
This last statement is the most telling. Why would anyone say they were to document the event -unless they knew it
was to occur? It either proves that secrets can be kept by a number of parties and those assigned to seek out such
covert operations are too incompetent to do their jobs... or they were doing their jobs and involved.
