I've talked with different people today about this new legalization and there are as many pros and cons as there are opinions. Like Nin said, live and let live is a strong stance but another is also as Wallfire said, it's an open door to stronger drugs.
Some cities have taken a harder stance on the fact though. My city, for instance, will fine you 4 grand if you get caught smoking it on the street. Yes, that's $4000.00 . Same policy they have with alcohol.
Makes you think twice before lighting up where ever you feel like...
Other cities, like Montreal close by, will let you smoke freely with the same restrictions as they do for the cigarettes. So, not everyone is enthusiast about having to smell that all day long. Especially since there are a LOT of people smoking where they shouldn't as they couldn't care less if you like it or not.
