Ahead of the 1 July elections, more than a hundred politicians and candidates have been murdered.

Looks like someone doesn't want to be voted out of power.
I don't know that much about the politicians down there, other than they are corrupt. The Cabal must have a pretty tight grip on the puppets there. I would probably think twice about running for office there too.
