It starts with little moves.

With all due respect to Ms. May, there are already no prospects for peace in that region, and have not been for millennia. This move doesn't make it any worse, it just brings it out into the open.

Muslims in general, and Palestinians in particular, have no desire for peace other than peace on THEIR terms - meaning Islamic domination. It's been that way in Jerusalem since 638 AD, and has no prospects of changing in the near future.

Sure, they'll smile and nod and say "yes, yes!" as long as they are being kowtowed to, as long as they think they are gaining ground in the domination arena But it's not what's in their hearts or their private conversations. It's just for public consumption. They'll pay lip-service to a "two state solution" as long as it's getting them gaining the ground they want, but just change that dynamic a little bit, just backtrack a little or stand your ground, and watch the howling and gnashing of teeth commence!

There will be no "two state solution" - it's a pipe dream, meant to mollify not-muslims. The Palestinians and other Muslims would never allow that, despite the lip-service they pay to it.

Might as well get it out in the open, point out that the Emperor is naked, and let the chips fall where they may, while never again backing down or giving ground. I learned a long time ago that the only way to deal with bullies is make them eat shit, and eat shit good, and not let up until they are your boys.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
