Scientists Connect the Human Brain to the Internet

I remember reading about a research that was done many many moons ago, it involved electrodes been put in the pleasure center of rats brains , the rats were then shown how to push a leaver that would give a small electric shock to the pleasure centers. The thing is the rats stopped eating and drinking and kept pressing the lever till they died.
They killed themselves because the need for pleasure took over completely.
I think tec is moving faster than we can understand the effects it will have on us.
