Jeremy Corbyn has said he would confront Donald Trump on climate change if he were Prime Minister.
The Labour leader made the comments as Prime Minister Theresa May met with the US President to
discuss trade at the G20 summit in Hamburg.
Mrs May did not discuss the environment during her 50-minute G20 meeting with Mr Trump, according
to 10 Downing Street, but said she was "dismayed" by America's withdrawal from the Paris climate
change agreement when speaking at a news conference afterwards.
Mr Corbyn said: "I would be very strongly challenging Donald Trump on his wish to walk away from the
Paris climate change accords...'
