So true. I do get much pleasure from making others feel good and making them laugh.
It is a joy to see someone's face light up from a simple complement, a bit of attention, a smile, a joke.
My mother was with me, and she told me a bit later, that all her children have been kissed by the Blarney Stone. And we all carry the spirit of her Father, because he was the same way.
She says we all got our fierce tempers from our Native American grandmother, and our gift of gab from our Irish-Jewish grandfather. Not dealing with stereotypical ideation, just stating the true personalities of my grandmother and grandfather.
I think she is right. I think part of it has to do with us being attentive of others and always seeing what makes them stand out and admiring their differences, instead of fearing it.
I saw this eldey woman today that had the most beautiful skin I have ever seen. She was a color so unique the only way I can describe it is, reddish brown. Not quite mahogany, not quite marrone. Dark but bright. She would make an amazing model.
I told her so. She laughed, but the three strangers in the grocery with me, said to her they were thinking the same thing but were not brave enough to say it to her.
Shame that we feel fearful in sharing our positive thoughts but are quick to spout our negative ones.

Anyone wanna talk today? Tried it before with no success and got triggered and i apologize for that shit.

In a meeting till noon. Lunch, then in class till 4pm, then I am on call for the Crisis Field Response Team till midnight.
I can steal a visit to my Rogue nest, when I get a break.
Don't get angry with me if my responses are delay.
Love ya Finn.

Can I ask what theme the members are viewing Rogue Nation right now?
Every time I revisit, I'm always on 'Volare' preference and can't seem to change it!

Damn! I can't get around the Volare one!
There's no option-link at the bottom of the page, so don't try it!
But thanks anyway for letting me know.

It is cool. I never get angry with any Rogue really. It is all about my insanity and addictions, that is what makes me sometimes explode.
Here is a challenge to all Rogues. Give me explanations why cannabis should not be legal. I shoot down all those arguments with scientifically proven facts.
(And now, just because the friend of the dog of your cousin's niece tried cannabis and fucked up her life with heroin, that does not count here.)
Shoot!
I got this.
I bring them down.

I'm an old boomer, and I think all drugs should be legal, up to and including heroin. It's none of my business how someone else chooses to self-destruct. that's their choice, not mine. I hear a lot of old "right wing" boomers wanting drugs illegal, but I don't think they are "right wing" (small government philosophy) enough. If one wants small government, then less laws are the answer, not more. That means keeping our nose in our own business, not trying to mind everyone else's business through more laws. That's a "left wing" philosophy of larger government and more laws.
I believe that cannabis in particular should not be illegal. I know of no instance at any point in history that anyone, ever, has overdosed on cannabis and died from it. I know of no cases of permanent psychosis arising from it, either. Furthermore, it has legitimate medical uses - pain relief for example - that lends it a pharmacopeial air. There are still those around that maintain it is a "gateway drug", but I have never observed that to be the case. Some folks DO move on from cannabis to harder drugs, but that is nothing inherent in cannabis, it is inherent in the individual psyche. Some folks just have an "addictive personality", and that will cause them to move on to other drugs regardless of what drug they choose first. Rather than addressing cannabis as the culprit, I think they should institute mental health resources that address the addictive personality.
I believe that making all drugs legal would also reduce the cost of them. Most of what one pays for drugs is smugglers fees for high-risk smuggling. Remove that and watch the prices drop... but in most cases of drug legalization, the government steps in and levies heavy taxes to maintain the cost of the absent smuggler's fees, and that does not help. In Commiefornia, although recreational cannabis use is legal, most cannabis is STILL bought on the black market illegally, to avoid the state's heavy taxation.
However, if the price of drugs is reduced, there would be a parallel drop in crime, such as robbery, because addicts would no longer have to steal more to get their drugs. It wouldn't disappear altogether, but there should be a reduction in crime as desperation would no longer drive robberies as much.
Just my random thoughts in the matter.

Dark 1.8 v2 all the way.
I installed Volare on my test site. First thing I did to it was put a theme switcher at the bottom

Relax. No one is ignoring you, other parts of the world are just on other time schedules, so we can't all be here all of the time. It's nothing against you personally, it's just that in other places, other folks are at work, or asleep, or whatever else their local time schedule dictates that keeps them away from R-N3 at that particular time.

I'm on Dark 1.8 here too, but that is only because i don't want to loose my closet door to be able to switch if i want to switch. I do like the Volare, but I also like to keep my options open.

Yeah... It's the weirdest thing! I haven't changed anything and the the Volare version doesn't
offer an option to change-out to Dark 1.8 or anywhere!

I was wonderin'... what would happen if I'm logged-in (because I can Version2 before I log in) and someone left
a link to the page they're seeing this post on?
Will it convert that link to the Volare version when I click on it?

Probably. Since your theme is set to Volare, and new pages you open from links will be in Volare as your default.
