'Google Declares War On Alternative Media: Plans To Punish “False News”
By Halting Ad Revenue'

'Google has decided to make itself the arbiter of what is “true” and what is “false,” placing
alternative media in the cross-hairs of its war on free speech and the free flow of information.

Since the US Election’s “surprise” outcome, supporters of Hillary Clinton have been searching
for who and what to blame.

One of the more bizarre theories circulating has been that Google, Twitter, and Facebook, who
WikiLeaks revealed were actually colluding with Clinton’s campaign to get her elected, were to
blame for distributing “fake” and “false” news that painted Clinton in a bad light and “unduly”
influenced public opinion against her...'

That'll be the WikiLeaks information that the mainstream media never went near and by doing so,
prohibited those who believe in the usual conduits of news from seeing what Hillary Clinton had
and her Foundation had been up to.

The 'bizarre theories' expression and word 'revealed' tend to not go together as the first one is a
claim of ludicrous or ridiculous and the second word is the opposite of hidden. To reveal is the
act of exposing and confession, it implies honour and honesty.
But please, let's not get bogged-down with semantics!

'...In order to take the heat off of themselves, Google and Facebook have now announced measures
that will target so-called “fake news” on the internet by cutting off how the writers of such content make
money – advertising....'

No, in my opinion, I think that if these claims were so 'bizarre' -and ergo dubious, why would major
internet companies concern themselves immediately after an election in a first-world country?
Was Donald Trump asked about this...? This piece has only mentioned Hllary Clinton's followers
concerns, is the worry of bizarre theories coming from her camp or Google's?

I would suggest that Google and Facebook wish to stifle free thought and access to information that the
Elite seem to not wish in the public domain. 'Fake' News is fake news, it mis-represents truth, it doesn't
hide information or prevent the viewer/reader from searching for alternative opinions.

'...Google sets due to the most damage to alternative news content creators as its AdSense advertising
network...'

I have no idea what the above sentence means.

'...AdSense allows advertisers to place text ads on millions of websites that are a part of its network
and is a major source of money for many publishers. In the wake of last week’s election, Google is now
working on a policy change that would prevent websites that Google deems “false” or “misleading”
from using AdSense.

Google has long had rules for AdSense, such as barring ads from appearing next to pornographic or
violent content. It uses a combination of human and artificial intelligence to comb through sites’ content,
with the artificial intelligence learning from sites removed from the program, making the process faster
and more efficient.

Essentially, Google is hoping to starve websites that don’t fit the mainstream media’s “truthful” narrative...'

Yep...! Hillary and her wealthy cronies didn't get their global agenda to work in the States, so they've
decided to nudge their establishment internet buddies and get them to gag those who oppose them
on a medium that covers the world.

A 'Fake News' claim now blanket for any website that they deem dubious. Bye-bye flying saucers then?

Because theyd lose money if they let a little thing like truth get in the way of their propaganda ......

Nay, my fine kilted friend! They'll not be getting rid of the ads, they'll just be getting rid of some they deem to be "fake news", and replacing them with propaganda outlets... erm, I mean "news sources", which they deem to be "true news" - all in an attempt to control the narrative as was one of the major premises of Orwell's "1984".

Think 1984 on electronic steroids, although Google, Facebook, etc. are probably at this instant hiring a small platoon of Winston Smiths in order to comb the internet and make sure that the artificial intelligences are not allowing yesterday's "true news" which has become today's "fake news" to slip through the cracks of the internet. They won't even have to burn old clippings - all they will have to do is delete some electrons, and yesterday will suddenly have been different than what you recall seeing with your eyes on the ground.

Nossir, the ads will still be there in all their glory - they'll just be designed to nudge you into believing that war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength.

Orwell was not a visionary, he was a prophet.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Here you go - Facebook censorship already on the move.

Here's an article from CBS where comedian and satirical commentator Jon Stewart is interviewed about
his views on the recent election.
In the discussion -a chat about the average man from two men who don't live in the same environment
as the average man, they talk about the fears the population may feel from electing Donald Trump and what
makes America great.

This footage shows once again, how the... if I label it 'Brain-washing' I feel many reading this will roll their
eyes and click on another thread. It's not brain-washing as we normally hear about it, it's an indoctrination
that has taken many years to bring about.

The USA is known for it's acceptance of diverse cultures and religious beliefs from around the world and
to be able to accept pluralism is a strength that many countries fail to acheive. So, I think the assumed
'cultural change' idea may not be the main part of the agenda.

(Please be aware that words like 'agenda' shouldn't be seen as signs of an organised plan or scheme,
I think it's more organic in it's nature, but that doesn't mean it's normal!)

In my view, Jon Stewart unintentionally tells the viewer of the 'project' that the United States is under-going.
It's not a conspiracy theory, it's not some-sort of shadowy 'Guvment' experiment that's seeped from European
shores and washed up on America's coast.

I suggest it's a global status change and you're not invited to give your permission of participation.
If you don't like it, they will call you racist. If you feel you're being used, you'll be accused of not going with
the flow.

It could be debated that you're being punished for being strong enough to alter certain parts of a plan,
but it's not really that. It's about the concern that you may -unknowingly and en masse, have a plan of your own.
There are no meetings or whispered orders, a class war is something that's 'felt' and as we're often
discussing on this website, feelings are today's deal-breakers.

It's about gently reinforcing -not really creating, urging a strata of peoples that have be ruled in a particular
way to go back into their fiscally-aligned positions or accepting predetermined new positions because of an
assumed realisation that these same people are becoming more self-aware.

That's not very good at explaining it, but if one sets aside the attempts to harness Russia and the clearing
of the Silk Road, I believe it's preparing the West for a 'break-away'-style of social living. Where a line will
be drawn on who-belongs-where not because of geography anymore, but of a quasi-aristocracy formed
from the 'new-money' brigade, mid-level power-brokers and a few of those in the celebrity world that believe
their own press!

This might be looked on as trivial, but since the barrier that keeps you from listening to the real people who
control global business, political change in countries and social development is the wall of the media and
the superficial garbage we call news and entertainment, it's hardly surprising that the folks within these
businesses are the same group who want to climb out of the 'average Joe' enclosure and build their own!

Believe me, it's gone on for years and it just isn't cricket... it's just not right that the guys and gals that aren't
in the One Percent should start telling the 'semi-elite' what they want! Good-Gosh!

If I may, there's a little hint to this mild 'brain-washing' being nurtured by today's western
education system. When a person with a 'PC' point of view is responded to with a set of verifiable
statistics that counter that person's narrative, there's a slight pause and then the word...
"So" is delivered and they continue speaking.
Usually quite quickly!

This shows that they feel their narrative will have more impact because if it's delivered with
haste and hopefully be perceived as factual information, it not only can a large persuasive manoeuvre,
it also makes the speaker of the narrative 'feel' more confident in their beliefs.
The 'so' indicates they are unwilling to adjust their narrative because in truth... and only in my opinion,
it is not what they truly-truly believe.

We can wear chains and learn to call them decorative jewellery.
