The rules of War
#1
The video shows what the rules of war are suppose to be. IMO they are nice rules that very few people or countries follow unless a camera is around. In WW2 when an SS dude was captured after he was searched he was shot, no hesitation no excuse.

In a genocidal war the object is to wipe out the citizens you have been taught to hate; sometimes since birth.. Israel and Palestine, different tribes in Africa, and of course the always present religious wars and hate. Now we have Russia killing just about anything that moves in certain parts of Ukraine.. Maybe all this one day will revert back to, "Kill everyone and salt the earth so nothing can grow" mentality like the Romans did to Carthage.. Anyone who has been in war hates war IMO but even saying that it is easy for some to peg out their hate meter and go full auto with your hate machine on anything that moves. .

Explanation: ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR OK!

Here is why ... This guy knew TOTAL WAR ...

Quote:Kurt Freiherr von Hammerstein-Equord (26 September 187824 April 1943) was a German general who served for a period as Commander-in-Chief of the Reichswehr/German Army. He was an ardent opponent of Hitler and the Nazi regime.

And he said ...

Quote:About officers:
  • I distinguish four types. There are clever, hardworking, stupid, and lazy officers. Usually two characteristics are combined. Some are clever and hardworking; their place is the General Staff. The next ones are stupid and lazy; they make up 90 percent of every army and are suited to routine duties. Anyone who is both clever and lazy is qualified for the highest leadership duties, because he possesses the mental clarity and strength of nerve necessary for difficult decisions. One must beware of anyone who is both stupid and hardworking; he must not be entrusted with any responsibility because he will always only cause damage.

  • Combat rules are for the stupid.
    • Quoted in, Mungo, Melvin (2010). Manstein: Hitler’s Greatest General. London, UK: Hachette UK. ISBN 0-297-85844-0.
About the Second World War:
  • I am ashamed to have belonged in an army, that witnessed and tolerated all these crimes.

The American Dream's collapse ...

Eisenhower's "Military-Industrial Complex" Speech Origins and Significance

Quote:The USA economy runs on a war footing and the deep state hidden hand black ops budget MIC/DOD/CIA/NSA spends 100's of billions of U$D every year in keeping the economy ticking over plus providing the very defenses we need to defend ourselves against anybody who is not FIVE EYES + Israel [Mossad via expats dual citizens runs the Council for Foreign Relations in the USA and hence must be included by default position that they have a very large say for a very small country that needs our help] ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Eyes

The economy also runs on old people investing their retirement funds into stocks, bonds and shares and they live off of the DIVIDENDS that are payed at least yearly with shares. They often don't attend the Military Industrial Complex companies yearly general meeting to vote for who is in charge of the companies board of directors and other vital matters and so lose their voice and vote completely and yet corporations are where the profit is made and they are also behind the political lobbyists that jerry/jury rig the system and gerrymander it up the wahzoo.

But war is only good if it is not on your shores and or lands or in your airways and so we in the west tend to project onto other weaker countries that are a part of the so called axis of evil in the middle east mostly. Why? Lack of Rothchilds Red Shield Banks and Petro-Oil Dollar'$ plus the company that gets to rebuild the broke assed nation gets megabux pumped into it by the MIC/DOD/CIA/NSA etc. [looking at you Halliburton and Dick Cheney!].

War is an unenviable part of life and yet also a necessary evil as sometimes you just have to put your foot down and say no in no uncertain terms and be prepared to defend your own actions and words by standing up for and speaking out for yourself and or others ... Or should one throw the towel in quit/surrender in retreat to the hills and abandon nationality all together?

So The oldies invest through their banks stock brokers who invest the money god knows where in some portfolio and that money ends up in the DOD etc. via taxes to spend to the MIC who then pay their shareholders [the oldies] who dont attend the annual general meetinsg a just vote by proxy through their stock broker who does attend them.

And that funds all the wars ...

Its the predator/prey cycle of economic life ... Boom and Bust and War and Peace.

So War .. what is it good for?

And as somebody infamous on the far left once said ... its about the economy stupid!

Anyone holding a camera is fair game. tinywhat Russia, the Wagner Group, or ??? Difficult to discern who/what is going on over there aside from the carnage.

War on the battlefield is similar to the credo or motto of counterIntel people read into Black Ops projects:
1. There is no truth; anything goes
2. We can do anything; anything goes

I can't find my link nor recall his name, but back in early 80s (I think 1982) one of those deep thinker RAND types who wrote paper wargaming scenarios for the Pentagon boys said the battlefield is no place for humans and proposed a cyborg/terminator + Space based weapons alternative. 40 years later they are getting closer with drones and who knows what they now have above our heads up in the Space cloud.

Never underestimate the American troops (or any for that matter) in the field after they witness some of the horrors and madness of war. Then it is not just kill, but bring a world of hurt to the enemy.

I don't know about rules.

As soon as you hear/feel rounds around you, you want to crawl under the soil and start blasting the MF's. After a few times of that, people start to get a little weird. That's when all the ugly happens that gets armchair QB-ed to death.

I sure wish it was different.

I remember when they were batting that idea around, the notion of an entirely mechanized battlefield. I remember thinking what a stupid idea that was. War sucks and it leave permanent marks, most of which are invisible to the eye. NO ONE leaves that battlefield the same as they were when they went in to it, whether it's readily visible or not. War is painful, and it is SUPPOSED to be painful - if it wasn't, humans would be doing it all the time for whatever reason their twisted little minds could devise.

Going full mechanized battlefield with no human element eliminates that pain, and it is a virtual guarantee of perpetual war. What is the point, exactly, of just having your machines "kill" my machines while we sit around and sip coffee? How is that battle even won, and what is the payoff once it is?

What if, after I lose, I say "so what if your machines 'killed' all my machines? Fuck your machines - I'm gonna run your squishy human body  through anyhow!"? What have the battle-bots gained for you at that point?

It's just a bone-headed notion. Leave it to Rand to come up with that bit of crazy.

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

The objective of the machines is to clear the battle field so a clear path to the enemy leaders can be had . Then you capture or destroy the enemy leadership while claiming to the world what fine fellows you are. If a city or two is destroyed in the process then sorry about that as it was necessary to get at the throats of the enemy. Two sides sides one purpose which is to bring about subjugation of those who oppose TPTB's divine right to rule..or so the history books will say as the winners will insure their version of the war is written...

when we look at history it seems someone is always wanting to start some shit minusculebeercheers The time between the wars is just taking a time out for the next conflict... a time to rearm and prepare for the next one.. The old saying, "If you want peace prepare for war" has, by history, been correct IMO.... Yep not nice and it is mean but it is what it is.
