Clear Media distortion..

Here is a link to an article that carries the title: Australian newspaper cartoon of U.S. candidates Harris and Biden criticized as racist

The article talks about a cartoon that is supposedly described as racist but NOWHERE in this article does it show the cartoon in question.

No, instead, there are a panoplies of videos showing Trump "attacking" Harris.

Why not name this article Trump attacks Harris then ?

Why make an article about a "racist cartoon" but put videos of Trump right after the headline AND before the article?

Sleigh of hand to alter your opinion. Period. Shameless fucks. (And I am not a Trump supporter)

Here is the link from that sleigh of hand article: Australian newspaper cartoon of U.S. candidates Harris and Biden criticized as racist

And here is the cartoon in question that Reuters "forgot" to put in their article:

See, I don't give a rat's ass if you're a Democrat or a Republican but this is the type of Media pushing an agenda the wrong way.

Hypocritical bastards.

The agenda 21/30 NWO people and prostitute press would have a headline of "Trump can not Swim" If his MAGA hat blew off while on his yacht and landed in the water...whereby Trump jumps overboard and walks upon the water while retrieving his hat... !

Journalism, if it ever was a profession (which I doubt), is now but a scruffy trade.  Their stock product is disinformation, produced by omission or distortion of facts.

My take is that the advent of the internet has hastened their degradation.  Practically anyone can act as if they are a reporter today and produce articles for whoever cares to read them.

The money machine that was paying for newspapers and magazines is almost dead.  In some countries, there are still TV and radio taxes, but those are increasingly scorned as people come to the realization that the media is riddled with its own biases.

I can't speak for others, but I find it very difficult to find out enough about any given issue to have a reasonable understanding of what is going on and why certain parties take the positions they do.

"Freedom of the Press" ?  How about freedom to have a functional press that doesn't try to act as political agents ?

I saw an article today about the Media, gloating about freedom of speech, freedom of expression.

The alternative media, perhaps. But nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to the mainstream medias.

Bought and paid for. It's so obvious.

Especially nowadays when they have no shame in promoting lies, creating false stories, photoshopping pictures, distorting and editing everything and anything that need to fit the agenda of those who pay them.

Just sick. And a whole lot of people still go for it, hook, line and sinker.

This report is from 2011, so it's probably controlled by even fewer companies now.

I like how "doesnt agree with my thoughts" became 'fake news'. Subtle but powerful  tinycool

I can't wrap my head around it either.

People choose not to acknowledge the simple truth, because it is too hard to admit or accept that we are not in control, we are not special, and we are viewed as expendable. Maybe that is why so many stand in line to be gavaged with the slop of the day. Most know their goose is being prepared to be cooked, but even with foie gras at the top of the menu, they continue to believe it will be someone else's ass that will be on the plate.

This has been known for years, yet people still gobble up, believe, and trust, what is handed to them. Even much of the supposed alternative media has been bought and serve the same masters.

We know only what they want us to know. If there is anyone out there that has any real information that is different to share, they won't be around very long. It was easy enough for them to eliminate little annoyances before, COVID makes it as easy washing your hands.

The "News" is a career for pot stirrers. The only side they're on is their side. They exist to make revenue. They do that by telling half truths and manùfacturing clikbait. To become indignant over any of it is to be owned by it. Letting these people live rent free in your head hurts no one but you.

Yeah, no kidding.  I wish.   If they were ever apolitical agents, that has definitely ended during our lifetimes.

Really most of the media you are delivered should be considered entertainment. The clue should be that almost all the stories have a sensational titles followed with a mid sentence cliffhanger, a clickbait........only to be followed with a non-performing, more opinion than fact speil,  mouthboogie.

I have not watched network news for years, and what little I do get from the likes of NPR or Potus radio on Sirris are only marginally considered. Fox news seems to have some grains of truth at times... Beyond that, you can gleen more real news on Forums or Youtube...... sadly. The days of real news died with Walter Cronkite and more recently Peter Jennings.

I agree. News fits more in the category of entertainment. In its more deadlier form.

The media has used entertainment for centuries as a way of manipulating our psyche. It is more effective because we embrace it willingly, and find comfort, and in some cases pleasure in it.

The direct method only works better when fear is the weapon used to beat you over the head.

The media is a tool. There is huge profit in what they are selling. I used to avoid the monetized alternative news, unless I was looking for the lie in the message they were delivering. But I have come to realize it is not always about the dollars. We have seen what they have been willing to spend, and how far they are willing to go to win the battle for our minds. It is highly profitable, and allows them to win the war with less effort on their part.

The old adage, "Believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see", used to ring true. Not anymore. What you see is often a bigger lie than what you hear.

So we have to rely on super powers most have forfeited, or never possessed, starting with independent thought, and commonsense.

So true!

Back in the fifties, it was the Roman Catholic Church (and others alike) who entered into your psyche, making you fear anything sinful or even remotely normal, like sex, as an example.

My grand-parents were terrified of ending up in Hell. The Clergy made sure that the message passed, either through sermons, talking with their flocks on the church porch or steps or even when visiting people door to door. They infused the fear of God into you, at every step of the way.

Churches are dead or dying so now all you've got to do, to get your gloom porn fix, is open the TV.

And they're good at it, the medias. Experts.
