Unidentified - Inside America’s UFO Investigation - series on the History Channel
#1
Hi everyone,

Last summer, a series called Unidentified - Inside America’s UFO Investigation - on the History Channel started. It captivated me from the very beginning, and made my latent interest in UFO’s awake again. There were revelations. The thing I liked most about it was so many of the witnesses to all those UFO’s were credible military personnel. My synopsis starts in the next paragraph. I started the thread originally on ATS, and it got a bunch of responses last year. Now Season 2 has started with even more incredible stuff, at least by the way it looks on the previews. Unfortunately I missed all three episodes of Season 2 and for some reason I cannot see them on demand through my cable system. I will when I get the chance. I hope come of you have seen this incredible series and add to the conversation. I’d love to hear your opinions on this series. If you have any of Season 2, please post about it. Thanks.

I just finished watching the third episode of this series. As a UFO buff and retired Navy veteran, I have to say this is credible and riveting. The people on this series are some pretty high up personnel. These are not tin foil hat nut bag conspiracy theorists. One still has his top secret security clearance.

I am very impressed with the integrity of the people on this series, and how they are investigating this whole phenomenon. As a skeptic myself, I wasn't sure what to expect when I first saw the promos for this series. After the first episode, I turned to my husband and asked what he thought. He stated that he was amazed that it had integrity and wasn't some schlocky presentation. My husband met while in the Navy, and are both 20 year veterans.

I am generally a skeptic when it comes to these things, yet am open minded and eager to learn new things. I thought all the interviews they did were well thought out, and not sensational. As a Navy veteran myself, I can totally understand how difficult it must have been for some of these people to come out and talk about what they witnessed.

In the military, you learn to keep your mouth shut. If you don't, it doesn't take long for others to label you as a crackpot. Especially when you hold a top secret security clearance, as I once did. So I find most of what I've seen as very credible.

Back in the late 80's when I was active duty Navy, I saw something in the sky that I have never mentioned to anyone but my husband until now. It was shaped like a tic tac, and moved about the sky like nothing I've seen. I've seen many different types of military aircraft, and this had no wings, exhaust, windows, and seemed to hover. Then it took off like a flash straight up in the air at an angle that no aircraft of any kind could do, not even to this day. There was no noise or anything involved.

A number of others in the vicinity of where I was saw a similar thing. We never said anything more, because I, along with many others were in fear of losing our security clearances.

There is something out there, and I hope they can find out what it is, before it's too late.

UFO's are soooooooooooooooo, Very exciting to learn about , But for me the U S O's that are so fast underwater we can barely keep track of them.
Not even the our or the Soviet Submarines travel at those speeds or go to those depths.

The program you mention I have seen on youtube videos.

Well you sold me on wanting to give the series a watch! Really cool that you also saw a tic tac UFO, was it over the Pacific ocean?

If you like USOs, you'll love this video.  The part I'm talking about starts at 6:52.  The object enters the water and makes zero disturbance while moving at a decent speed, which ties in nicely with what Bob Lazar said about these craft moving through the mediums of air, space, and water effortlessly.

It was at a military base in Norfolk, VA. I was living in the barracks, and a bunch of us outside saw it.

Very interesting, I've heard the Navy has been encountering these things on both coasts.  I've watched Cmdr. Fravor's interview with Joe Rogan twice, I find the guy highly credible and convincing.

Either this is some shit we really don't know about, or we've made a giant leap in technology and are testing it on our fighter pilots lol

You're very welcome.  If I recall correctly, the part of the video I was talking about at 6:52 was military footage as well, but I forget whose.

I remember the first time watching it, I immediately thought of Lazars description of how they move effortlessly through air, space, and water.  I've always been on the fence with Lazar, but I've also seen him validated a few times.  Even Fravor said he wasn't crazy, he's just a regular guy.

I finally saw Episode 1 of Season 2, was on demand through Spectrum. The gist of the episode is that these tic tac shaped UAP’s have been around since the Vietnam War in the 1960’s. They interviewed a Navy pilot, a LCDR who has a Navy Cross, on something he saw while piloting a B52. They also interviewed an Air Force Airman who flew in one of those KC tanker aircraft that refuel other aircraft in midair, during the Kosovo conflict in 1999. Then they interviewed an Army Specialist who saw something in the air when he was standing watch in 2009. He even wrote about it in his diary.

All the interviews were riveting. Luis Elizondo talked to the rest of the experts on his team as to something that could explain what these things were. Nobody on the planet, in any country, has anything known to be able to do the maneuvers that these craft were able to do. They discussed lasers, drones, missles, etc, but nothing could fly like these Unidentified aerial phenomena. Very credible witnesses who weren’t talking out of their asses. At the end of the episode, Luis stated we need to find out what these things are, since they seem to take a keen interest in what our

I just got done watching episode 2 regarding the triangle shaped UFO’s. It was an excellent episode, very comprehensive. There have been several sightings of these triangle shaped UFO’s over the years, many by military personnel with security clearances. The thing many of these seem to have in common is that they have lights on the three points of the triangle, and are otherwise black in color. They fly pretty low and can go slowly or hover. Then in the blink of an eye, they rapidly accelerate to hypersonic speeds.

The guys discussed whether some of these sightings could have been of an F117 or B2 stealth bomber, both triangle shaped. The thing is that neither of these military aircraft can just slowly fly with no noise at all and then rapidly accelerate to hypersonic speeds. And again, these objects seem to take an interest in our military installations. I don’t believe this is a coincidence. Could they be some really advanced thing our military is currently testing? That is possible, but I don’t believe that either. Why would our military want to fly something like these over heavily populated areas? When the military tested the F117 and B2 stealth bomber, they did not fly them where there were people.

I like that more people are coming forward talking about these things. It’s pretty riveting to see that this is finally being taken seriously. Keep those posts coming! I want to hear all your thoughts on this.

Here is an interesting article about the series and Luis Elizondo:

Are UFOs a threat? We need to investigate, says former head of secret US program

Quote:"I think we're at the point now where we're beyond reasonable doubt that these things exist," Elizondo said. "We know they're there — we have some of the greatest technology in the world that has confirmed their existence." But where do these objects come from, what are their capabilities and what are the intentions of whoever may have sent them?"

Quote:None of the objects had visible wings or other means of propulsion. What's more, they appeared to be performing maneuvers that would have subjected them to as much as 700 times the normal pull of gravity, or 700 Gs, Elizondo said. (Of course, there is no way to confirm those estimates, as the sightings were so fleeting and much of the obvious documentation is not readily available.) To put that into perspective, airplane cockpits can withstand only about 18 Gs before cracking, and people can typically endure just a few seconds at 9 Gs before losing consciousness, as gravity draws blood into the extremities and oxygen ceases to flow to the brain.

Worth a read :)

I wish him good luck with that.  I have serious doubts that any government in the world has those answers.

Cheers

Excellent article. The G force stuff is just mind blowing. I just don’t believe humans can build these unidentified aerial phenomena. With the technology we have now, nope, not buying that. It really is intriguing. Thanks for sharing the article. I’m going to check out some more stuff on that website.
