Guohua has passed.
#1
It's with a heavy heart that I must announce the passing of Mrs. G., site owner and a pillar that held it up.

She passed on the 14th of August in her sleep, of breast cancer.

I sent an e-mail to her husband to inqure about her, and got the following response:

Quote:Hello.

Sorry this is my email address, (Mr. G.), Guohua's husband.

My wonderful wife passed away 11 days ago on the 14th of this month.

Guohua had been battling breast cancer for 6 years, I think (Senona) may have known about it.

Six years ago the Mayo Clinic had given her 6 but no more than 8 months to live, well, she treated her self and gave us 6 and a half  more years.

My wife passed in her sleep next to me.
I know she had been with out energy enough to see her own patients or log into R-N3.

You can not imagine how much Guohua Loved you all there.

She wanted to get better and go all of you.
Rogue-Nation3 members meant the world to her.

Please let all of her Family there know that She Loved them to the End and I am So Very Sorry for not logging in and explaining my wife's absence.

Personally I have been lost and just not much good to anyone. I’m old (very old) and can not stand the loneliness and stillness in this house with out her constantly asking me to explain things to her or hold her hand and hug her.

(Mr. G.)

You can post this email to the Admin and members if you want.
I’ll use her account and check in when I feel like I can and answer any question.

I can understand Mr. G's "lost" feeling. I'm feeling a little hollow myself. Although she was the site owner, the site WILL go on. She created and owned it, and loved everyone here, and it will continue in her memory.

I had been Googling her for a couple weeks now because I felt something was off because she had not visited since 28 July and that was a very unusual occurrence. She always checked in with the staff and let us know she would be out of town, or busy, or whatever, and that check-in was missing this time. I found nothing in Google other than links to her clinic and medical stuff concerning her practice, no obituary or anything like that, so the news came as a shock even though I knew something was not right.

There is not much more I can ad to this at this time, as I'm in a bit of shock myself.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Mr. G your missus will be very missed but I know with all my heart that she is safe with her ancestors now and that she is watching over all of us, you especially. I hope you find comfort in knowing she remains by your side just as her family members always remained by hers. Much love to you!

I too had wondered about her absence. Her presence and her humor will be missed. Mrs. G made me feel welcomed from my first day here, and in little time she gave me the honor of being a full on rogue, and a member of the family.

I will be praying for her, and Mr. G.

I know that she is still with us in spirit. She will be missed but her spirit remains close.

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.

Yet I still post.  tinyinlove

I quit logging here to save what was left of my own mental health and to quit pissing people off but that doesn’t mean I haven’t checked the list of thread topics on an almost daily basis. This news comes as a shock so much I felt compelled to log in and offer my condolences.

I didn’t much see eye-to-eye with Guohua or anyone else here for that matter but she was always kind and respectful to my contrarian views and even reached out to me a couple times to see if I was okay when I was quiet for too long.

My heart goes out with sympathy to Mr. G and to this entire community for her loss.

I've noticed her absence. I had no clue, so shocking and deeply saddening.

I just learned today that a friend was recently found to be riddled with cancer, he is on his death bed, it's just a matter of a day or two. This is four years to the day since a very close friend died of cancer, he was younger than me and so is this other friend. The list of people I knew who have passed away is growing exponentially as I grow older it seems.

My condolences go out to Mr. G and all members of this forum. I am thankful to have conversed with Guohua on RN3, it was always a warm feeling for me like she was a loving family member and we we're on the phone talking together.

I've been all over the internet, on many boards throughout the years.

She certainly was the best site owner I've ever seen, normally most wouldn't participate and when they did, they would come off like a block of wood for some odd sense of hierarchy. Loved that she participated so much and really seemed to treat everyone the same when it came to an interaction level, had a good sense of humor too, no problem keeping up with some of the more disruptive and crude posters(obviously talking about me).

Really sad news, I'm glad this place will continue on, in her honor.

I had noticed that I hadn’t seen her on here for awhile but I wasn’t expecting to come here to see this.  This is such sad news. She was one of a kind and will be very missed.

I’ll be keeping Mr. G and everyone who knew her in my thoughts.

Was going to PM her yesterday & today... Been missing her so...
Now, I'm just heartbroken. She always treated me as if she cared - even reaching out through emails through multiple years of absence.
Goodbye, Gouhua. You were genuine & loved.
(Deep sigh)
Mr. G (Rick) & your daughter - please accept my condolences and sincere regards.

Explanation: tinycrying My deepest condolences to Mr G and all my fellow rogues ok.

May she rest in peace, Amen!

Personal Disclosure: Now she is free eh.

P.S. She was a US patriot even though it was not her country of birth and she fought a quiet war with her breast cancer and now her blood refreshes the tree of liberty ... she shall never be forgotten by me. She has had a huge impact on me over the years and I for one was glad to have her as our bosslady and a dear friend and teacher! She will always be in the center of my heart and at the back of mind and in the depths of the bowels of my guts. Touch the earth and then touch the sky Gouhau and may the god of your ancestors bless you and your journey into the afterlife and the future.

P.P.S Ima totally distraught and in dismay and despair over this ... totally blindsided and gutted by it. So sad sorry. tinycrying

Perhaps a celebration of life is in order. We should have a dedicated thread to share her posts and celebrate her life. A memorial of sorts and set aside a day to remember her.

I've noticed you have been missing for a long time. I was thinking about you and worried something may have happened. I'm sorry you feel you had to stop posting, but I'm glad to know you're OK.

There was one time you rubbed me the wrong way and I hope that my reaction hasn't contributed to you're decision to be silent. I actually respect the fact you got me riled up some and miss your comments.
