Thank You  minusculebiggrin

It is funny but actually isn't a joke! She usually hangs out in the kitchen but occasionally likes to mess with Kdog when he's trying to sleep. The look he gets on his face is comedy gold though!

I bet it is!

My husband and I stayed in a haunted hotel years ago and we had some activity. A plastic bag with a bottle of water and brochures from the front desk literally just got pushed off the table in our room. We both saw it. Hubby tried to tell me it was the wind... tinylaughing I can assure you it wasn't because we didn't have any windows open. He picked up the bag and put it back on the table and I kid you not, it looked like something was flicking the top of the brochures that were sticking out of the bag a bit. Hubby emptied the bag, tied it up in a knot and put it in the trash. He kept trying to rationalize it but that was more for himself as I knew it was a spirit.. When I woke up the next morning, I saw that he had left the TV and his bedside light on. He did ask me how I could sleep so easily seeing as I thought it was a ghost and I was like "meh, it wasn't a scary one" He was a bit freaked out tho.

For what it's worth, I'm a noob here too. I bivuac'd here last weekend during the Great ATS Outage of 2022 (all 5 days of it)
and decided to stay. So far, no one has thrown shoes or produce at me.......which is a plus...... Very cool crowd here. Easy going too.
I think you'll love it.
Cool dog by the way!  I used to have a pointer mix. Right now I have a rescued shih tzu. Dear God, what an attitude he has......
LOL!

Thank you! Welcome to you too! I found this place after ATS went down as well.

Thanks! My dog is a husky/lab cross breed. He has more lab characteristics than husky tho...except he is mouthy like a husky  tinylaughing I tell ya, when he starts telling you off it's so funny!  tinylaughing

Oh God, yeah. Mine gets going on the back talk and it's like watching a bad tempered Muppet. Gotta love it!

I love that!! Bad Tempered Muppet!!  tinylaughing

I have had so many experiences thru out my life and to me there is no doubt that there is some kind of life after death. I also find UFO phenomena very interesting. I love history as well. Oh and 80's movies!!! The 80's were the best for music and movies!  tinybiggrin I also love travelling.

When I am not at work, I love taking my dog (that's my baby in my profile pic) for walks and spending time with my family and friends and going to the theatre.

You married a brummie?

Only kidding. I'm in the East Midlands and it's equally as crap.

Hi.
I too was an ATS refugee.

West Midlands.
I worked near there for about a year, in Hednesford.
I was amazed at the number of mullets.....like going back to the 70's, or being in Australia.

Seen a few bands in Birmingham over the years.

Rational? Don't be spreading that rumour around. tinylaughing

Hednesford is near Cannock.

I got sick of commuting from the North East.
Originally I'd planned to move there.....but after spending some time there I realised it wasn't really the place for me.
Nice enough people but......

Spent quite a bit of time in and around Leicester.
A few stories to tell.

Cannock Chase is nice.
But to be honest amongst other things I got a bit bored in Hednesford.
It really was like going back in time.
My family were at home.
I have mates in Leicester and Hinkley but it was a bit of a chew on to get there on a night after work etc.....and I had to try to keep myself 'right' for graft the next day.  tinyshocked

I'm sure I'll get round to telling a few of my stories over time.....I know things are a bit more relaxed here but I'm still a bit wary about going into the details of some of them! tinylaughing

Hi Carly!

I'm FCD, and I haven't been here long either, but RN3 is a GREAT place.

Regarding your paranormal experiences, I knew this gal once who could stop a clock!  Now, many people think this means the person was attractive, BUT...I mean she could literally stop a clock from ticking!!!  Freakiest thing I ever did see!  She'd tell people this and of course no one would believe her.  Then someone would hand her a wall clock, or a wrist watch...and within a minute or so the damn thing would stop ticking...for real!

I don't remember her name really, but the times I saw this gal was mostly at some upscale 'cocktail parties' where people were having a few cocktails (you know, the usual mellow parties with people doing beer bongs, shotgunning 5th's of Everclear and eating lightbulbs, kind of stuff.  Mostly pretty laid back stuff).  At one point this gal mentioned she was a real night-owl and didn't really get going until after sunset.  That was pretty much all I needed to hear...before checking my watch for the time (erm, make sure it was still working) and heading for my truck.

So yeah, I get it.  :-)

Anyway...question for you; do you like pencils?

LOL!

I use to be scared of spirits when I was younger as the the house I grew up in was very haunted! Every single member of my family has had experiences in that house. I am not fazed now tho.
