Aaaaw man, now that is touching.
Whoever did that, sure hit a home run in my book!!

Where I'm working now, we get quite a few senior citizens and I always make a point to talk with them when I can, not knowing if they have anyone at home or not.

One fella comes in there regular, Louis,  is 93 yrs old and loves to talk about his glory days of playing football/baseball/basketball.
I don't care if he tells the same story over & over, the joy it gives him makes me feel good.

The other night, 2 older women came back from a trip to NY (they hated it up there. LOL)
Anyhoo, they could not wait to get some cornbread and milk. (a southern thang I suppose)  and were carrying on like school girls, just a giggling and having fun.

Yep, can't forget about the older folks this time of year.
Especially the ones all alone.

Thanks for sharing, great vid!!   minusculethumbsup

Well, there's always Rogue Nation, a site where we urine-smelling, cat-food-eating, grumbling
old farts can meet up and whinge about how the young are ruining the world!

As the cold Christmas morning breaks and the sleepy-eyed citizens of this planet scratch their
backsides, ponder what the hell happened at last night's party and wonder who the snoring
person is that shared their bed, Rogue Members can once again tap softly on their keyboards
and ruminate about by-gone days.

Envy that their better days are behind them or just that gravity seems to be picking on them
far-more than it used to...? You decide.
But we'll be here, like a lonely centurion manning the walls and watching for the interloper.

We'll be here.

Yeah, the aisles will be quiet and apart from the 'Returns Counter' near the front door,
we old bast... we of latter fermentation will be left to peruse the shelves and ignoring
the elevator muzak, search for the days when certain items were bigger and cheaper.

The soft shuffle of reindeer-adorned slippers will announce to anyone more lonely than the
old that an old duffer walks this way and please... ignore the stains on his cardigan.
