A friend of mine had a shadow entity follow him from a visit to a forest in Germany.

There were no violent events, but his daughter was a "sensitive" and she did not care for what had followed them home.

IMO there is a relationship between them and the people whose abodes they inhabit. I would guess if you and K-Dog stay upbeat and positive, the presence of these entities will be minimal.
