I’ll weigh in on this with a response some might find surprising considering I myself am of transsexual experience… fifty-two goddamn years ago and even longer than that because by no measure was I even seen as a "normal" boy.

TL:DR - This everything-under-the-sun transgender ideology just because of say so and “feelings” is not only primarily nonsense, it’s also almost all total bullshit.
I’ve recently spent a month with an online group of (whatever word you want to use is considered specious and transphobic) like-minded, genuine/true/real/actual/normal transsexual people from across the globe that have discreetly come together to formulate ways of speaking out against this gender madness in spite of backlash that will come from the so called “trans community” itself in doing so.
The mere notion of suggesting that all trans people are not alike or have different motivations for transitioning or that there are some deeply fundamental differences in the “types” of trans people is considered blasphemous and heretical and a serious failure of towing the official party line by the transgender cultists to the point where those wanting to speak about these differences are silenced, canceled and erased being thought of as elitists for wanting some separation and distinction from the current wave of 296 different gender or non-binary gender made up pronoun let’s-change-society-to-accommodate-us insanity.
It’s a shitshow and too complicated and nuanced to try to explain, especially to the generally conservative rightwing readers here but “transgender ideology” has become increasingly damaging and harmful to what was once called the true or primary/classic type of transsexual - those very rare individuals congenitally affected with debilitating gender dysphoria from a young age that in their case, can be thought of as being completely psychologically, socially and in terms of sexuality once it becomes apparent, “inverted” or in more simple terms, organically and innately just the opposite of their biological sex.
This is the silent and mostly hidden minority that is rarely involved in public discourse or LGBTxyz cultures that is now beginning to organize behind closed doors to develop a strategy so that they aren’t dragged down with the sinking ship of nonsensical transgender ideology. Organizing is difficult because those in this group live their lives quietly and privately blended into the woodwork as regular men and women and don't want to risk having their history publicly known .
This was the group I mentioned above but I parted ways with them due to philosophically different idea on how to approach this and get the word out to not conflate “us” with “them” without sounding like egotistical elitists trying to be the good trans or like the transgender mafia cult likes to put it, ”more trans than thou” also while also not framing sexuality as a defining factor of their differentness ala the two-type classification theory as proposed in 1989 by Canadian sexologist/researcher, Ray Blanchard, AKA the HSTS (homosexual transsexual) vs. AGP (non-homosexual/autogynephilic) paradigm that I won’t delve into in detail as this was the heart of the philosophical differences of opinion that caused me to distance myself from this group. Let’s just say it’s complicated and too complicated and confusing to the general public that wishes this whole thing would go away and die in a fire to ever understand. It puts us between a rock and a hard place.
Where all this takes a sad and wrong turn is in the trans ideology’s lumping together of this cohort or erasing their existence entirely with that promoted and approved by transgender ideologues and activists made up primarily (in the neighborhood of 85%-90%) of those in the past were called secondary or pseudo transsexuals i.e. people with non congenital gender dysphoria acquired or developed through paraphilic or fetishistic desires, misdirected erotic location targets, mental illnesses and in today’s clown world, those with the social phenomenon of wanting to be cool, different and edgy or get attention and likes and blue-haired loudmouth SJW type harpies who don’t even experience gender dysphoria but want you to respect their made up pronouns.
In the eyes of the general public, this second group seems to represent what most people picture when the trans topic comes to mind? The Caitlyn Jenners, the Rachel Levines, the Gamestop “ma’am”, the wax my balls Jessica Yanivs, the 45 year old family man that transitions to let his “inner women”/his “gender identity” free because they’ve “always been women” along with those screaming somewhere on a college campus about their special pronouns. JFC on a stick!
Do I sound a bit bitter or angry? The shitstorm from all this has spurred a massive wave of anti-trans sentiment particularly in the UK, (AKA TERF Island), with its cultlike gender critical feminists dogwhistling rhetoric and anti-trans biased media that’s now also become a U.S. policy platform with white Christian nationalists, fundamental religious zealots, rightwingers, conservatives and the Republican party and probably even flat-earthers and anti-vaxxers too (lol) without really understanding the issues and differences between the types of trans people. There is a severe optics problem because to the transgender mob, real transsexuals, albeit rare, are an uncomfortable truth that contradicts their dogma and makes them look bad so the voices of the few are drowned out with cultlike zeal and it’s just not fair.
To use a gender critical/TERF dogwhistle, when “trans identified men” (TIMS) are positioned as threats to women and girls and blamed for the collapse of modern society, women’s sport, rights etc, those of the congenital/primary/true transsexual cohort, that have nothing to do with any of this are mistakenly included in the ire of anti-trans sentiments and we’re damned tired of it thus the desire to have our voices heard. The gender critical/TERF crowd also tends to ignore or gloss over the existence of true transsexuals because it doesn’t fit THEIR narrative.
This is madness and it’s frustrating and all this nonsense is not caused by the silent and invisible trans minority. Trans ideology and the radical activism of “gender identity” is solely the product of the majority… it is the late in life transitioning “transgender” person that has come up with all this crap that controls the narrative and pushes this agenda while appropriating the lives, experiences and stories of the true transsexuals to make their lives seem more valid. What is even more depressing is that even the rare and unique genuine/true type of transsexual youth has been brainwashed with this gender ideology bullshit. It makes me want to cry and I am not alone.
