They're around, at least here in the US. Not in the numbers claimed, but they ARE here. I don't know if they still have "Pathfinder Bookstores" in the US or not, but you used to be able to go to one of those and meet all the card-carryin' communists you could stand to meet. I used to live right across the street from one out in Newport News, VA, on the coast. I used to go over and browse the shelves looking for communist guerrilla warfare tracts, and they never, ever knew that I'd just as soon shoot them as look at them. There were some strange, sad, whiny souls in there. I figured that letting them live was punishment enough!
