It always makes me laugh when ideas such as the 'Own Nothing' credos are suggested, because the
last couple of naive generations see this kind of idea as virtuous.

The British film industry even took the piss out of this socialism principle in the movie 'I'm Alright Jack'!

Peter Sellars played Fred Kite, a militant Union shop-steward who sports a Hitler moustache and sees
businessmen as an oppressive force. Kite is a devout Socialist and one of his quotes cracks me up during
a scene where he's chatting.

"... Ahhh, Russia. All them corn fields and ballet in the evening."
