I found this utterly fascinating
It appears that lichen are composed of three species
Two fungus and an Algae
This is very important on many levels
The first that came to mind is the doping process that is used to create metals
The third Fungus species is effectively embedded inside the whole thing.. Now they will have to create the algorythms to replicate how this came to be and we have a brand new metals industry
