And by the way, BS about parents sleeping well at night. I watch too many Cold Case files for you to fool me into a "better era" or any of that BS. Born and raised about 2 miles from where Jeffrey Dahmer lived (and while he lived, and ate...), so yeah, fuck that.

It's my memories of where I grew up. Life was good. We left our doors open just like everyone did. We didn't have air conditioning back then; had to leave the door open and let the air come through the screen door and open windows.
People can't do that there anymore, too many thieves running around. Can't even let a child play outside alone anymore. It may in the country, but it's changed there too.
Evil has risen it's ugly head everywhere.

That's only true (and false) in your reality. My doors are still unlocked. My car as well. My doors and windows open in summer, and my kids walk to school. 

Heroin put a strain on some of this, the drug epidemic made my spare change vulnerable? But otherwise, again, you just didnt have social media to blast (in real time) the farm girls that got raped and murdered, the boys that went missing, the dismembered bodies that turned up in swamps. Shame on you for pretending that was never reality of mankind and now shoving it down our throats like a ploy of present day politics. 

Oh, trust me, if this had happened, we wouldn't need the internet to hear about it. It would have spread like wildfire among all the gossiping women until it made it's rounds county wide!  They were a nosy bunch and couldn't keep it out of other's business. One thing I hated about that close net community.

Shame on me?  How dare you!  YOU DON'T KNOW MY REALITY!  I don't pretend ANYTHING!  And I never use things as a "ploy" for politics. I speak from my heart in hoping only good things for humanity. If you don't get, so be it.
