The Great Millenium War: Addendum
#3
There is nothing incorrect in what you have said. The cards have been drawn, the game is afoot. War is coming to the streets in the US. I would argue that it is already here, but many, probably most, do not yet recognize it. As with nearly all turning points in history, it will not be recognized for what it is until the Monday morning quarterbacking in the aftermath of the war.

In 1861, no one knew that Civil War was already upon them when Sumter was bombarded. Some of the Confederate states had not yet even seceded... but war was already upon them, whether they recognized it at the time or not.

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
