Big trouble as usual in Chicago !

This weekend (so far) has 67 people shot and 13 shot & killed.

Kind of typical actually but a little more since all the recent hype all over the country.

Chicago's bloody gun violence continued through the holiday weekend as more than 67 people were shot and at least 13 killed, including a 7-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.

Nine of the victims were minors, with only the two fatalities so far, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The girl, identified by her family as Natalie Wallace, was outside her grandmother’s home at a Fourth of July party in the city's Austin neighborhood around 7 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and three men got out and started shooting indiscriminately.

Wallace was shot in her head and pronounced dead after she was rushed to a hospital, police said, according to Chicago's FOX 32.

A 32-year-old man shot during the same attack was in fair condition, FOX 32 reported.

It makes me so sad to see the behavior that some of the human race has sunk to.

Killing innocent children stabs me in the heart. She was just outside enjoying a July 4th party and got killed, and that 14 year old had his whole life ahead of him; now it's gone because of some thug.

Something has to be done to stop this!

Damn, how tragic.

I feel for her family, what they must be going through right now.



Not sure if there is anything that can be done in that area or if the leaders WANT anything done.

Gang related, either over territory/drugs/retaliation, more than likely. Just take a pick.
It's such a shame that innocent people get caught in the crossfire.



So sad.



My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
