'The nose of a British Airways plane collapsed on the tarmac at Heathrow Airport this morning (June 18).
The front wheel of the plane appears to have given way causing the stationary Boeing 787-8 to fall forward and
smash into the ground below.

Airport officials in high vis jackets can be seen in pictures crowding around the damaged jet at stand 583 on a grey
rainy morning in West London. The aircraft was carrying out a flight from Moscow only two days ago on June 16.
Luckily there were no passengers on board when the plane fell to the ground...'

Sadly four members of our pilot community passed away recently.
Our thoughts are with their family and friends. However, there is no truth whatsoever in the claims
on social media speculating that the four deaths are linked. Julie.

The idiot maintenance ground crew left the nose gear locking pin out ! When powered down all the gear are suppose to have their locking pins installed with a big red streamer attached.. Someone is gonna get burned for that mess up !
