I learned about giants growing up in church. I just accepted it and thought everyone knew there used to be giants. Imagine my surprise when, after reaching my 40's and getting internet access, I learned people DON'T accept that they were real. This confused me, and I still wonder what the big deal is about them that "they" don't want it known that they once existed.
