The UK Assimilating With Today's World.

TBE has been spreading like wild fire the last few years here. Strange thing it came from Sweden (lots of imports). If birds carried it to England why did it not get there sooner. Here there has been a massive bed bug problem in university campus, Yep cause, non European students

It does seem odd -as you point out, that since the small amount of birds that actually do migrate from that region of
the world and have done so for thousands of years, why is it this tick is just becoming a concern now.

I think we can safely say that Sweden and the UK are not seen as tropical countries and since the tiny amount of
migratory birds that travel to-and-fro from Sweden to Britain don't migrate to warmer climes, they are not the culprits.
