Taking Tom along adds to the videos, as Erwin now has someone for interplay, rather than his standard interplay to himself. Also, as the series progresses, and Erwin's beard gets longer, he looks more and more like this old curmudgeon, hat and all, which I find fascinating:

I have been inspired by Erwin to go pixie hunting locally, hoping against hope that I can encounter a tribe with those fascinating hallucinogenic arrows, but so far, no luck... but there is always tomorrow!

Yes their banter is very 'bumbling-uncle-with-dubious-nephew'-esque! AND the blanched-beard trend that you and
Erwin aspire to didn't go unnoticed too! (A long-lost forest-loving brother, perhaps?)

Pixie-hunting Tip: Don't shoot them.

I cannae shoot 'em. While my eyes and aim are still good enough to hit such small targets, the bullets are big enough that it would obliterate them, thus destroying the evidence that they ever existed a-tall. Not the optimal situation, as I'm sure you'll agree. It would be like shooting a single man with a cannon ball.

However, shooting AT them, just in their general direction but over their heads, for example, might induce them to return fire with some of them there hallucinatin' arrows... 

The brotherhood likely stops at the beard. Erwin is far more adventurous than I. I don't go into caves any more, because, cave spiders.

And wyrms. I learned my lesson about them from Erwin's videos. Nasty buggers, and they appear to be ill-tempered to boot!

So, the Pixie Hunter saga continues. Erwin now boasts 23 YouTube videos centered on Pixie Hunting, and if you binge watch them all, in sequence, with no breaks between, there is 3 hours, 3 minutes, and 48 seconds of documentary video evidence for the existence of pixies roaming the British countryside - and that's pretty damned impressive!
