It's late summer and around 4.pm. on a weekday.
I cannot see anything that would give me a location, though I believe I'm stood looking towards someone's rural
property.
I'm alone and I think there's nobody else around.
A mound of soil that is overgrown with grass, but looks like it's been mowed recently.
The scene is back-lit by the sinking sun and gives the impression that the front side -from my position, has been
disturbed. But I think it's stunted bracken or a false impression due to the shadow.
I would liken it to a golf sandpit in it's steepness and I'm seeing it from a clearing through a tunnel of shadowed trees.
Possibly hawthorn. The surrounding land is grass with a lot of straw in it, similar to a small field that at sometime had
farm animals in it.
I'm resisting the urge to suggest the mound is a pile of grass-clippings, I can't touch it and remains about six feet way.
I can't see it, but I get the feeling there's a building to right. Maybe around sixty-feet away.
It's a bright day -what's left of it, but I can't feel a heat that a hot day would accumulate.
I've come from the east of the property and I think I'd been wandering in woodland.
I don't know why I came across the mound.
