When I first saw your offered word, I envisioned the rear of a red open-top MG Roadster idling at
in a street. Maybe the letters 'BV9AJ1JTEW' made we think of a English registration plate, but my
mind's-eye couldn't -or wouldn't let me centralise on it.

What seemed some important was the camber of the road, the curved angle of the street that rises
from the cobbled gutter to the centre of the road. The exhaust fumes were coming from the vehicle's
vibrating exhaust-pipe and I felt it was waiting for someone.

It had been raining, but it seemed that was a while ago.
I couldn't raise my view to see who was driving the old sports car or whether there were passengers.
It just seemed like what counted was the back-wheel in the gutter and the waiting.
