Yeah, apparently some people still think it's okay for a certain group to be free to harass as much as they like, but heaven forbid you object. That's why I like animals. They're honest, not prejudiced, and they love you no matter what you (or your bank account) look like!
When a man does that touching business to a female co-worker it's sexual harassment.
Case in point, I had a male co-worker that one day decided it was appropriate to "feel" a silk shirt I was wearing. The first time I looked at him funny but took it for what he said it was, wanting to feel the fabric of my shirt... after that however, it was just plain creepy so I believe if memory serves me correctly that I threatened to either punch him or break his fingers if he touched me again.
My boss stepped in at that point and explained sexual harassment to him and explained how he didn't want his company sued..
Solved that problem.
One touch is one thing... but consistently touching is sexual harassment - regardless of what sex the offensive toucher belongs to.
It's creepy and weird when you can't manage to keep your hands off your co-workers. ..
