Theology is nothing more than the Study of God or Creation, it's Not Proof Of A God.
There is No Solid Proof of God or of their Thoughts on Creation.

Science is the proof that all life derives from a source of intelligence < apply that intelligence to whomsoever you will

what DNA does prove is that life is not just matter alone ... there is another ingredient for life ..... information

We have ex-muslims, Witches and members who practice Wicca and Buddhism.
We have Christians and they are not replying to your post. < not my fault, are they not free to ?

I'm sorry, I thought this might be a platform I might speak freely my Christian faith perspective and challenge those who might disagree

Please move on to our other threads and contribute, let's not beat a dead horse.

I don't consider it to be a dead horse just because 'someone else' has given up the debate

You don't have to leave us, but there are other threads.

Actually, I wouldn't, your questions have be address and you've refused to debate openly other than not agree that the answers given or not what you want to hear.
You also criticized one of our members for their reply.
That is not allowed.
You failed to accept that no one participating in this thread was going to fall to their knees and worship your God, who by the way has not made any appearance on earth for HOW LONG?
OH,,, by the way, No One can advertize their web-site here with out MY or one of my Admins permission and then I would be informed of that permission being granted.
If one of my Super-Mods was asked by You, they would have come to me or one of the other Admins to get that permission.

Now to be Honest, I was born and raised a Communist / Socialist, but I never killed a Christian.
My husband has many friends that are ex-kgb and he said he knows none of them kill Christians just because they were Christians.

So, you can accept the fact some here at Rogue-Nation 3 are not Christians and have no Desire to be in that Faith but have their own beliefs and you can contribute and debate in other threads or you can Bow Out. OR you can ask us about our faiths and Open Your Mind, What do you know about practising the belief of WICCA or Ancestor Worship, do you believe in Spirits?
We are not going to be your Flock or Sheep to Look After and Preach a Sermon to.
Anyone who wants to can see your website address and go there and enjoy, no hard feeling.

It IS a no-win situation. The flawed assumption is that the Columbian soldier in question was ever intended to win.

Quote: So how can Atheists possibly obey “marching orders” when the orders are so confused that even Christians can’t agree on what say?

They can't. No marching orders were ever issued to Atheists by anyone's god. They may march wherever they wish.

Quote:Likewise with us Atheists. We could pretend there is a god, we could even pretend along with you. But deep down inside, we can only really believe what we believe, and we believe based upon the evidence we see, and we see no evidence for your gods-

Exactly. Atheists can only believe what they believe, same as Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, etc. This is why I have never, in the history of my existence, tried to convert an Atheist. There are no percentages in it, for anyone.

Quote:So, if you Christians want us Atheists to “believe” all you need to do is present believable evidence.

No. I don't care what Atheists believe - or, more precisely, they may believe whatever they like with no hard feelings from me. I'm pretty sure I still wouldn't care, even if I were a Christian. Because I don't care, it follows that it's not my job to present any evidence at all.

Quote:You want us to believe? Come up with solid evidence. But you’ll settle for us pretending? Sorry, we’re not children anymore.

Again, no. Not my job. Atheists, like everyone else, must find their own path of belief, and their own evidence to support that belief, if any is available. I have a peculiar sort of belief that does not allow me to insist that anyone believe against their nature. that would just be plain old wrong. In my peculiar worldview, hand feeding "religious evidence" to atheists - or anyone else for that matter - would be akin to spoon feeding children, which they are not, as the writer has observed.

Ask Grace about it - when she was a Muslim, I never, ever discussed religion with her. It was not my job to either shake or stir her beliefs. They were for her alone to explore and discover.

What goes for Muslims, in my view, applies equally to Atheists. They can hunt their own evidence down and cook it in their own camp.

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
