First-ever water tax proposed to tackle unsafe drinking water in California

Let me tell you what the tax is, it's .95 cents per month for each household that gets a water bill and each business.
Now who in their right minds believe this tax will be for cleaning the water? You'd have to be VERY Stupid to believe that.

Here let me give you an idea of what the Legislator of California have given themselves Each Month.
As of 2016 it is said there were 12,577,498. homes in California, ok, now do the math, 12,577,498. by .95 cents = $11,948, 620.25 per. month and that doesn't include all the Business's in California that are to be taxed also.
By the why, 12,577,498. is just a figure of the Single Family Homes, not all the Apartments and RV parks and so on.

“My message is short and direct: We are not Flint, Michigan,” co-author Sen. Robert Hertzberg, D-Van Nuys, said at a Wednesday rally outside the Capitol, where demonstrators held signs reading “Clean water is not a luxury” and “Water is a human right.”

Should they be taxing Drinking Water?

Does anyone Really Believe them? I mean, how much tax is there in California on one gallon of gas and diesel or propane? They pay in State and Federal .76 cents per gallon.
