All visitors must carry their identity card or passport, valid for entry into both France and Switzerland.

You must arrive at CERN Reception 20 minutes prior to your visit time.

Luggage is not allowed anywhere at CERN.

High-heeled shoes, open-toed shoes, flip-flops and sandals are not permitted.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere at CERN.

Pets are not allowed anywhere at CERN.

(the following remark is not applicable to individual tours, but only to groups and school groups visits)
It is your responsibility to inform us at the earliest opportunity if any of the visitors in your group belong to any of the following categories. Some of our visit points may be inaccessible to them.

1. Children under 16 years old (give exact ages)
   
2. Pregnant women
   
3. Disabled visitors or persons with reduced mobility
   
4. Visitors with a pacemaker
   
5. Visitors with ferromagnetic implants
