The involuntary head movements look a lot like Tourettes to me.

Tourettes is coming up as a routine diagnosis these days.  And, it seems as though it's difficult for the docs to decide between Tourettes and Parkinsons and several others.

The point of my reply is: it's becoming a more common thing.
