On one occasion, I left my house in the middle of a snow blizzard and by the time I'd driven the 10 or so miles to the Hazel

I've had to take my jacket off every day that I've been volunteering there! It's quite weird now that I think about it! because
the rest of the time it has been feckin COLD with snow/hail/rain/sleet/high winds etc
The weather makers must approve of our work??? ROFL

It could well be that the way we used to perceive weather, working outside in the elements and the general
view of winter, has been slowly altered by media forces and now we see what your Grandmother would have
seen as just another seasonal snowfall, now is a terrible blizzard that should be designated a name!
The weather hasn't changed... we have!
