It worked so well among the African-Americans in the US starting in the 1960's that now they are desperately attempting to extend it to the entire rest of the population.

Urban blacks seem to not even realize they have merely traded one form of slavery for another. It may come with a check from the Masters, but it still keeps them down, keeps them dependent, and keeps them enslaved.

Now TPTB want to see all of us going along with that program.

Now there' a statement I wish people would wake up to. It's exactly correct.
minusculethumbsup

Along with that, going hand-in-hand, is the current drive to relocate the entire population to urban centers, and depopulate the hinterlands. The drive in in progress from the UN right on down to local governments. I've seen recent articles in the likes of National Geographic extolling the virtues of urban living, and how good it will be for the environment and how well it can combat "global climate change" - no more vehicles burning fossil fuels, for example.

It's a very tangled, interconnected web they are weaving, with connecting nodes between all of the Socialist talking points. The entire thrust of it is to gain control over the proletariat.

You see, it is far easier to control a population of sheep if they are herded into the slaughter chutes of urban areas. You then control their food, water, energy, housing, transportation, access and egress points, etc. Once you have entire control of that, in a captive population, you own them body and soul.

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
